This notice explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be scrolled past.
What we collect
If you use the contact form we receive what you type: your name, work email, company, optional website and role, and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if a conversation follows, to prepare for it.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page, timestamp) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.
Purchases
When you buy a playbook, our payment partner, which acts as merchant of record, collects your name, email, billing country and payment details to process the payment.
Lucidens receives your name, email and order details so that we can deliver your purchase and give you support. We never see full card numbers.
What we do not collect
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party advertising scripts. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a font network.
We measure aggregate usage with Vercel Web Analytics, a first-party, cookieless service served from our own domain. It records page views, referrers, country, device type and a small number of interaction events (for example, a click on the contact button). It does not store IP addresses or any identifier that could single you out, and we cannot see who you are from it. We use these figures only to understand which pages are read and to improve the site.
Legal basis and retention
We process contact-form data on the basis of your request to be contacted (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short, fixed period.
Who processes it
The website is hosted on Vercel. Playbook payments are processed by our payment partner, the merchant of record for each purchase. Contact-form messages are delivered to us by an email delivery provider when that integration is enabled; otherwise the form asks you to email us directly. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below. We answer within the timeframes the applicable law requires.
